Our goal is to keep your data private. We regard privacy as part of your freedom, not as a legal formality, and this site is built that way rather than merely described that way.
This website collects no marketing data and no personal contact information. There is nowhere on this site to type anything: no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account, no booking system, no payment, no comments.
We do not sell, rent or share anything about you with anyone, and we do not build mailing lists.
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit these pages, which pages they read and roughly where in the world they are. It is the only piece of JavaScript on this site.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so that several visits from the same device are counted as one person rather than as several. It tells us totals and patterns; it does not tell us who you are, and we make no attempt to identify anyone. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and your browser settings, or Google’s own opt-out add-on, will stop it.
We use Google Search Console, which reports how this site appears in Google search results: which terms led people here and how often. It reports totals and averages, never individuals, and it is built from Google’s own record of its search results rather than from anything installed on this site.
Like every web server, ours writes a line for each request: the IP address it came from, the date and time, the page asked for, the page you came from if any, and the identification string your browser sends. This is how the site is kept running and how attacks are spotted.
Those logs are deleted automatically after fourteen days. They are never sold, never shared, and never used to build a profile of anyone.
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Our address and telephone numbers are on the home page.
